Fun day, smooth experience

I booked tickets for the falconry display and general admission for a Saturday. The website was clear and easy to navigate for booking. I received my e-tickets immediately. On arrival, entry was quick with the barcode scan. The falconry show was impressive. We also explored the maze and grotto, which was a lot of fun. The grounds were very clean. Food from the Maze Cafe was a bit pricey for what it was, but convenient. Overall, a great family day out, and everything went smoothly from purchase to leaving.

Always a good visit

This was my third time getting an annual pass from Leeds Castle. I keep coming back because it's such a reliable day out. Booking the annual pass renewal was straightforward this time, just like before. We went mostly for the Knight's Stronghold playground for the kids, which they love. It's consistently clean and the staff are always friendly. Never had a bad experience here. It's great to know we can just show up and have a solid day.

Mostly positive, one small hiccup

I purchased tickets for the Fireworks Spectacular, which was fantastic. The booking process online was clear, and I got my e-tickets right away. Parking was well-managed for such a big event, which was a relief. The fireworks display itself was incredible, really well done. My only minor issue was with the queuing for food at one of the stalls; it took quite a while. Otherwise, the staff were helpful, and the overall atmosphere was great. Good value for the experience, just be prepared for queues at peak times.

Had a nice day out

So I grabbed some tickets for the castle and grounds for me and my partner. We decided to try the punting on the moat, which was really chill and a fun extra. The website was fine, pretty easy to get the tickets. Didn't have any trouble getting in. It's a nice place to just wander around, lots of space. The gift shop was a bit much, lots of stuff, but that's normal. All in all, a good day.

is it better to book tickets in advance or can we just show up on the day? planning to go next month.

A Ashley Lee 1 month ago
You can usually just show up and buy tickets, especially on a regular weekday. But if you're going during a busy time like a bank holiday or school holidays, booking ahead saves you queuing.

I always book online just to be safe, especially if there's a specific event on. Plus, sometimes it's slightly cheaper online, not sure if that's still the case though.

Anyone know if you can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers for Leeds Castle tickets? Trying to save a few quid.

J Jacob Sanchez 4 days ago
Nah, I tried that a while back and it wasn't an option. They don't seem to be part of the Clubcard scheme for attractions, unfortunately.

Pretty sure they don't do Tesco vouchers. You sometimes find 2-for-1 deals with other travel partners though, might be worth checking those out.

Are dogs allowed at Leeds Castle? Thinking of bringing my furry friend along.

S Sarah Evans 1 month ago
Sadly, no. Only assistance dogs are allowed inside the grounds and buildings. They're pretty strict about it.

Nope, left my dog at home last time. Had to check their policy before I went, only service dogs get in.

Thinking of staying overnight at the castle. What's the difference between the Maiden's Tower and the castle bedrooms? Which one is better?

S Susan T. 1 week ago
The Maiden's Tower is separate from the main castle, it's more like a private guesthouse vibe, really fancy though. Castle bedrooms are actually inside the main castle itself, super historic and unique. Depends if you want more privacy or to be right in the thick of it.

Maiden's Tower is a bit more modern inside while still being old, if that makes sense. The castle rooms are proper old school medieval feel. Both are amazing though, you can't really go wrong.

How long does it usually take to see everything at Leeds Castle? Got a day trip planned and want to make sure I budget enough time.

A Ashley 4 weeks ago
You could easily spend a whole day there, like 5-6 hours if you want to see the castle, maze, gardens, and maybe catch a falconry display. It's a huge estate.

We usually spend about 4 hours. That's enough for the main castle tour, a quick walk through the gardens, and the maze. If you have kids and they want to play in the playgrounds, add more time.
